11th REGIONAL PEACE FORUM



On December 12, 2012, two days after the department celebrated Human Rights Day, the 11th Regional Peace Forum was held at the Arcilla Hall, Bicol University Daraga Campus.  The Theme centered on the Internal Security Plan of the AFP dubbed as Oplan: Bayanihan

BAPS CELEBRATED HUMAN RIGHTS DAY DECEMBER 10, 2012

The Department of Peace Studies of Bicol University in Daraga, Albay Campus celebrated the Human Rights Day on December 10, 2012 at Arcilla Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm with activities that included the General Assembly of BAPS and a Symposium in the afternoon with the theme: The UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND ITS RELEVANCE TO CONTEMPORARY PHILIPPINE SOCIETY.  A resource person from the Commission of Human Rights was invited to serve as resource person.  The activity was sponsored by the JUNIOR PEACE ADVOCATES.
