The second round-table discussion for the Proposed Bicol Consortium on Peace Education was held at the Ateneo de Naga Univerity on August 5, 2008. The ADNU Center for Community Development served as the venue for the said activity. The first round table meeting was held last May 2008 at the BU Department of Peace Studies. The Director IV of PIDO - OPAPP Mr. Rolando Asuncion was present to help with the meeting. Dr. Rosana facilitated the meeting. Theaccomplishment of the meeting consisted of the following: (1) Critiquing of the Scanning Instrument; (2) Planning for the workshop that will eventually help put flesh to the Consortium Initiative. The OPAPP promised to provide assistance as to the logistical aspects of the proposed workshop; (3) Discussions on how the consortium could become more relevant in light of the newly signed implementing guidelines on the integration of Peace Education to the basic and tertiary education. Bicol University as represented by the Department of Peace Studies through Dr. Herbert Rosana was tasked to prepare the initial workshop plan, it was also suggested that the members will be requested to help critique the plan and communication has to be done by email.
